The studio door 2

I'm lucky enough to have two studios, one in England, the other in France. This one is in France and yes, it really is that pretty with lavenders, roses and in the right season, lilies round the door. But to even up the picture, the door sticks, there's no water and not much heating either. Come inside....

.....this is where you can discover more about how I make my paintings, what ideas are up and running at any one time, sketchbook work, studio tips, news about events, galleries, favourite painters and much more. As a regular feature, each month you get to browse the books on my arty bookcase and I'll choose one to talk about in a completely biased way, according to whether I like it or not!

If you would like to receive my newsletter please subscribe below. Don't worry, I promise not to clog up your inbox - every three or four months you'll be able to see what's happening in my studio, check out the tips for artists, thoughts on painting and other arty matters as well as receive special offers and invitations to events.
