Postage and packing

Packing
All works well be securely packed. Paintings on canvas will be wrapped in bubblewrap or equivalent (where possible I will use a more ecological equivalent), then securely packed in cardboard boxes. In addition framed paintings will be fitted with corner protectors. Works on paper are mounted in a mat with backing board, sealed in a cello bag (see framing and presentation), sandwiched between two sturdy layers of cardboard and placed in a Jiffy bag, paper envelope or brown wrapping paper, depending on size.

Shipping
will be by first class Royal Mail in the UK, DPD or Parcel Force, using recorded delivery and so you will need to sign for it on arrival. I cannot refund you if items go missing in transit. I am happy to ship outside the UK and will use a specialist shipping company to ensure your piece arrives safely. This may incur other charges such as import duties or taxes which will be added to the shipping cost. Works on paper that are framed behind glass cannot be sent by post and therefore need to be collected from my studio. If you live locally (within 15 miles) it may be possible for me to deliver the work in person, by arrangement. Shipping costs cover labour, packing and transport fees.

Delivery
I will aim to despatch your painting within 3 to 7 working days of receiving payment in my account. For larger pieces or framed pieces with specific framing requirements it may take longer but this will be by prior agreement between you, as the purchaser, and myself.
